Koprinka is a village in South Bulgaria. It is located in Kazanlak municipality, Stara Zagora region.

Situated around 6 km west from the town of Kazanlak, 40 km northwest from the town of Stara Zagora, around 51 km south from the town of Gabrovo and 277 southeast from the capital Sofia.
Regular bus transport connects the village with the towns of Stara Zagora and Kazanlak.

The village is located in the Rose Valley at 383 m altitude. It is one of the big villages in Bulgaria with a population of around 2 700 inhabitants.

The climate is humid continental. Summer is hot with high rainfall and winter is mild.

There is a town hall, church, mosque, health service, school, kindergarten and community center in the village. There is also cable TV, Internet and coverage of all mobile operators. Koprinka has 3 hotels and restaurants. The closest hospital is placed in the town of Kazanlak. Locked among the hills of the Sub-Balkan, the village of Koprinka is a magnetic place with ancient history and beautiful nature.

Many Thracian tombs can be visited in the region with interesting artifacts discovered in some of them. Most probably they are connected with the nearby town Sevtopolis - a capital of ancient Thracian kingdom. One of these tombs can be compared by size with one of the small Egyptian pyramids and it is of great interest for the archaeologists.

Koprinka dam is located 2 km far from the village. Here you can spend time on fishing, sunbathing, swimming, hiking in Stara planina (Balkan mountain) and take a look into the region by bird-eye with hang glider.
