Dolno novo selo is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located Bratya Daskalovi Municipality, Stara Zagora region.

In Bulgaria there is another village with the same name - in Dragoman Municipality, Sofia region.

Dolno novo selo is located about 12 km north from the municipal center village of Bratya Daskalovi, about 33 km north from the town of Chirpan, 49 km west from the town of Stara Zagora, 216 km southeast from the city of Sofia.
Regular bus service  to the town of Chirpan.

Dolno novo selo is situated at an altitude of 396 meters, in the southern slopes of Sarnena Average forest. It is surrounded by small hills.
The climate is characterized by high heat and the winter is harsh.
West of it runs Omurovska River, left tributary of the Maritsa River.

The permanent population is about 81 inhabitants. The village has electricity and a water supply. The streets are paved. The houses have large yards, with fruits and vegetables. The center has a small park and monument to the fallen in war and resistance.
The nearest schools are in the village Naydenovo / 5 km /, and the nearest hospital in the town of Chirpan.

Natural landmarks:

  • The air in the village is very clean and in the surroundings there are many mushrooms and berries.
  •  At about 6 km north is situated hut "Kavakliyka" - one of the best places for tourism in the region.
  •  East of the village has a relatively large reservoir, which serves for irrigation and fish farming.
  •  At 2-3 km west from the village of Dolno novo selo is the area "Stone Wedding". This is an interesting rock phenomenon that is believed to represent God fossilized wedding ceremony.
