Dobrina is a village in North-Eastern Bulgaria, part of Provadiya municipality, Varna Region. It is 4 km east of Provadiya, 13 km from Hemus highway /Varna – Sofia/, 56 km southwest of Varna and Varna International Airport.

The terrain is hilly - plateau. The climate is temperate-continental, with hot summers and mild winters. The average annual temperature is 11.9 degrees. Population - about 300 people.
The former name of the village used to be Jizdar-Kyoy. Among the local it is famous as the village of walnuts.

The village has a community center, store. Only 5 km distance in Provadia there are hospitals, schools and kindergartens.
Several English families have bought properties in the village.

landmarks

The picturesque location and rich cultural and historical heritage make it an attractive place for recreation and tourism, and the quick and easy access to the city of Varna are making it suitable for year-round habitation.
The only stone church in Bulgaria named after St. Theodorus is located in the village. Another attractive landmark is the Church of the Holy Nativity of the Virgin which is famous for its unique iconostasis. In the crypt of the church there is a hiding place with a well. A rich ethnographic collection which represents the lifestyle of the locals is on display at the community center
Nearby are the fortress Ovech, drilling, the Ereka spring and the salt baths in Provadia - unique in the country. The only curative baths of similar kind are the ones in Karlovy Vary - Czech Republic.
