Debovo is village in North Bulgaria. It is situated in Nikopol municipality, Pleven region

It is 20 km south of the town of Nikopol and 34 km northeast of the town of Pleven. The capital Sofia is 199 km southwest. 

It it situated in the central part of th Danubian Plain on the bank of Osam river and its altitude is between 50 and 99 meters. The climate is temperate and is characterized with hot and dry summer while the winter is cold. During June and February fall lots of precipitation. Hails are common phenomenon to the area.

Regular bus transportation connects it to the other settlements. There are constructed water and electricity systems. The mobile operators have coverage. 

The permanent population is about 630 people. 

Here are functioning town hall, kindergarten, stores and restaurants. One GP takes care for the health of the local people. The nearest hospital is in the town of Pleven where you can get specialized medical assistance. Schools are working on the territory of the municipality. 
Community center "Saglasie" was found in 1927 and in it there are concert hall with cinema hall and library and is formed choir. The village is famous for the dance Kalusha. 

In here you can see monument of Vasil Levski, in the park there another monument of the fallen during the wars. The Orthodox church "St George Pobedonosets" was constructed in 1923. 

In the town of Nikopol there are many landmarks such "Eliya" drinking fountain, the church "St St Petar and Paul", the Nikopol fortress, "Vassil Levksi museum" etc. 

In Pleven, you can visit three of the 100 National Tourist Sites -Panorama Pleven EpopeeRegional History Museum and the Mausoleum Chapel "St. George Pobedonosets". Other sites nearby are Kailuka park and the Museum of Wine.
