Bogoslov is a village inWestern Bulgaria. It is in Municipality Kyustendil, District of Kyustendil.
It stands about 5 km south-west of the town of Kyustendil.
The village population is about 390 residents.
The relief is low-mountainous, with average altitude about 700m.
The climate in the region is continental, with mild winters and warm and dry summers.
Bogoslov is with well-developed infrastructure, including partly asphalted and lighted streets, full electrification, water-supply system, telephones and Internet.
About 10 km away is European route E871, linking the settlement with the border of Gyueshevo and the capital of Sofia.
Regular transport to and from Kyustendil is at the disposal of the village residents.
There is a town house, community center, church and a network of shops and restaurants.
The village is visited by a GP providing medical care for the residents.
The closest hospital and schools are located in the town of Kyustendil.
ATTRACTIONS
About 6 km south-west of Bogoslov is the Osogovo hut, Lima Hotel Complex, as well as several eco tours. They are prerequisites for development of eco tourism in the region.
In the eastern part of the village is the ancient fortress "Dabye" where there are remains of fortress wall.
The short distance to Kyustendil makes possible visiting the spas and Roman baths in the center of town.
Hisarlaka hill is about 2 km south-east of the town. The fortress was built at the end of IV and the begging of V century.
