Asenovtsi is a village in North Bulgaria. It is situated in Levski municipality, Pleven region.
It is 4 km northeast of the town of Letnitsa, 6 km southwest of the town of Levski and 44 km southeast of the town of Pleven. The capital Sofia is 191 km southwest.
It is situated on the shore of Osam river and its altitude is 58 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized by hot summer and cold winter.
The permanent population is 1629 people.
Asenovtsi is well maintained village - bus transportation connects it to the other settlements. There are constructed water and electricity systems as well as phone system. All mobile operators have coverage. The main streets are asphalted and with lighting.
The people in the village can use the working town hall, community center with library, primary school, stores and restaurants. One GP takes care for the people in the village while the nearest hospital is in the municipality where also work kindergartens abd high schools.
Tourism and landmarks
The municipality has long traditions in the sports development and in the town of Levksi there are stadium, swimming pool, sports hall, tennis courts etc.
Gorgeous natural landmark is the Krushuna waterfalls in Maarata area (situated 11 km in southwest direction) and they are a must see.
Tourist attraction in proximity is Devetashkata cave - one of the largest and most impressive caves in the country. It is located on the bank of Osam river and about 27 km southwest of the village of Asenovtsi.
