Settlement:
Districts:
Krastova Vada is gradually forming to be a favoured area for the construction of single-family houses, gated complexes and, partially, industrial and business buildings.
The quarter is located in the south part of Sofia, on the two sides of Cherni Vrah Blvd. To the north it borders Srebarna Str., to the west - Louie Aier Str., to the south - the Ring Road, and it enters the territory of two administrative districts - Triaditsa and Lozenets.
The prevailing buildings are new houses. There are several newly-built housing complexes consisting of houses and bigger housing constructions. The old industrial zone is along the Cherni Vrah Blvd. and the Philip Koutev and Srebarna Str. There are old brickwork houses here, constructed mainly around the 50s and 60s of the last century.
Investors have manifested a strong interest as of late regarding the construction of luxurious controlled-access closed complexes and well-formed plots. The tendencies for construction and landscaping of the housing environment of the quarter in close perspective are the construction of communication and infrastructural sites.
In the next couple of years the transport infrastructure will improve significantly with the construction of Todor Kableshkov Blvd. from Gotse Delchev quarter to Vitosha quarter. An expansion of the west part of Cherni Vrah Blvd. is forthcoming, as well as the construction of a quatrefoil crossing at the ring road intersection.
The basic problems of the quarter are the almost non-existent sewerage system, the bad state of the road pavements and the not too many shops.
The Dr. Petar Beron Private Primary School is located at 67 Cherni Vrah Blvd. The 4th regional police department is at 5 Krum Popov Str. and the 6th regional police department at 5 Bratia Buxton Blvd. Both keep watch for the tranquility of the residents of Krastova Gora.
The transport connections to the center and the remaining quarters are very good - trams /TM/ 2 and 14, buses 88, 120, 64, several route taxi lines to the center, Dragalevtzi quarter and the more distant quarters.
