•    The Church of St. Demetrius is located on the northeastern side of Trapezitsa hill, on the right bank of Yantra River. It has historical value, because it’s connected with Asenevtsi riot against Ottomans in 1185.
•    The Church of St. George is located on the Southern side of Trapezita hill, on the right bank of Yantra River. It’s comparatively small basilica, with narrow narthex and half-cylindrical vault. It’s built in 1612.
•    The Church of St. Pavel and Peter on the northern side of Tsarevets hill. It’s bishop’s chair.
•    “Holy Forty Martyrs” is an Orthodox church, at the foot of Tsarevets in Veliko Tarnovo. The church is a cultural monument and is closely related to Bulgarian history.

Transport

•    Bus  № 50 - per 30 min
•    Bus  № 110 - per 1 hour

Cultural Monuments

“Vladishki Bridge” is a cultural monument. Its name comes from its closeness with the church “Holy Apostles Peter and Pavel”, where the old bishop’s residence has been. The bridge is built in the second half of XVII c. and its last reconstruction is completed in 1981. “Vladishki Bridge” is peculiar with its heavy and solid stone foundations, which are column-like. Its framework and parapets are made entirely from massive lumber. It is in Asenov quarter, eastward from Tsarevets and has been the only connection of Arbanasi village with Veliko Tarnovo. The bridge has view to Tsarevets and the near-by antique houses.
