Galabnik is village in West Bulgaria. It is located in Radomir municipality, Pernik region.

It is situated 24 km south from the town of Radomir, 35 km south from Pernik, 22 km north from Bobov dol and 21 km north from Dupnitsa. Sofia is 47 km north from Galabnik.

E79 road passes 3 km from the village. Regular bus and railway transportation, direct route taxis connects it to the other settlements and with Sofia.

Galabnik is at the foot of Konyavska mountain and its altitude is 791 m.

Its relatively high altitude determines the weather in the village and its beautiful nature. The winter is cold, but with little precipitation. The spring comes late and it is cool. The summer is not hot but is with lots of rain and the fall is warm.

The permanent population is about 244 people.

There are stores, sweet shop, pub, post office, primary school and community center. The nearest kindergarten and medical care are in Radomir where there is University Hospital Radomir and specialazed medical services you get in Pernik and Dupnitsa. Water and electricity installations and sewerage are constructed.

Tourism and landmarks

In proximity are situated Dolna Dikanya and Dyakovo dams which offer great opportunities for fishing. In the area you can visit Nature Reserve Ostritsa, the medieval fortress Krakra near Pernik and the church in the village of Dren.
