Weeks of Germany in Sofia
From April 3 -19 you can attend the weeks of Germany in Bulgaria. The event aims at informing, entertaining and educate the Bulgarian audience by giving a few exhibitions, theatre performances and many, many more.
The launching ceremony is at St. Nedelia square on April 3 with a United Buddy Bears exposition. It represents 120 bear sculptures symbolising the UNO countries.
Ulrike Almut Santig will read excerpts from her books in Sofia Library, but Bulgaria will also have her share of literary readings thanks to Haralmpi Oroshakov and his book the Batenberg Affair.
Don`t miss The New Man by the German group Ligna whose performance is due on April 4 at Rayko Alexiev Gallery. There will also be educational seminars, social discussions and various expositions.
