Tour Operators discuss the development of tourism in Veliko Tarnovo
Travel agencies at home and abroad have come together in the old capital, to discuss the development of tourism in the regions of the thirteenth annual meeting of the Association of Bulgarian Tour Operators and Travel Agencies ( ABTTA ). It will be inaugurated on Monday by Mayor Daniel Panov and will continue until October 30, announced the municipality. The event is organized with the cooperation of the Municipal Tourism Agency "Tsarevgrad Tarnovo" and the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association - Section of Veliko Tarnovo.
The motto of this year's meeting is "The cooperation between the public and private sectors - a platform for sustainable tourism development."
In fulfillment of one of the Association's objectives - improving the business environment for the business activities of its members and enhancing the national tourism offering, the meeting will be held as a bi-modal workshop for exchange of information and good practice between the two main groups of stakeholders of the tourism market: municipalities - a major factor in the development of regional tourism product , and tour operators to ensure its marketing .
The event will be attended by close to 15 important for the Bulgarian tourism municipalities , 40 tour operators - ABTTA members , representatives of airlines Air France and KLM , academic partners and students from the New Bulgarian University and Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
