A total 598 new residential properties were built in Bulgaria in the third quarter of 2010, a 15 per cent year-on-year decline, according to the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
New housing contracted by 21 per cent in annual terms to 4360 units in the period.
Most of the new buildings were in the Black Sea areas of Varna and Bourgas, with 112 new buildings with 831 flats and 95 buildings with 888 units, respectively.
