The Ambassador of Switzerland to Bulgaria Regina Escher said that about 30 farms will benefit from the Bulgarian-Swiss project entitled “Link environmental protection with sustainable development of rural regions” launched for the period 2012-2015 and sponsored by the Bulgarian-Swiss programme for cooperation.
Under the project Bulgarian experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Food Safety Agency are undergoing a training course in Switzerland.
According to Ambassador Escher, considering the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries, trade has still to develop.
Swiss investors come to Bulgaria mainly because of the qualified and reliable employees and a growing number of Swiss tourists are discovering the charm of Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast.
