Pomorie municipality at “Vacation and SPA Expo”
“A sea of sunny emotions” is the title of the presentation of Pomorie Municipality, which will open a separate stand at the International tourist fair “Vacation and SPA Expo” 2011 opening in Sofia.
The exposition will feature the latest ideas for the development of seaside, cultural, balneal, SPA and eco tourism in Pomorie as well as the wine produced from Pomorie vineyards.
“The Magic of Pomorie Lake” is the name of the new bird-watching center built in partnership with the World Bank. It provides information on all 246 species nesting in the region. Telescopes allow observing them in their natural habitat.
The botanical garden of Pmorie is another eco attraction in the presentation. In the last 10 years Pomorie Lake has been part of the Ramsar Convention treating damp zones as an international resource, actively working for the protection of biodiversity there.
