Over 100,000 foreign tourists expected to arrive in Bulgaria for the Easter holidays
Tourism
Over 100,000 foreign tourists are expected to arrive in Bulgaria for the Easter holidays. Almost 65,000 of them will be from Romania, 30,000 from Greece, and 25,000 tourists from Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro. A quarter of a million of Bulgarians will travel in the countryside, with 60,000 planning to stay at hotels, guest houses and other forms of paid accommodation. The rest will stay with friends and relatives. There is a slight decrease in the number of trips of Greek citizens to Bulgaria and trips of Bulgarians across the country. This is mainly due to the high fuel prices.
