Movie to Promote Bulgaria to Indian Tourists

A movie promoting Bulgaria as a tourist destination will be shot by an Indian television channel, according to the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism.
The movie will be shot by TV Channel “Travel XP HD” whose team will be in the country between July 27 and August 8.
The movie will broadcast by other Indian TV channels as well, it is stated.
Shooting will take place in the capital Sofia, in the second largest city of Plovdiv ,on the seaside resorts Albena and Sunny Beach, cape Emine, Nessebar and Kamchia river, according to the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy.
The promotion movie will show Sofia’s main cathedral St Alexander Nevsky, the National Theatre “Ivan Vazov”, Sofia’s oldest University Saint Kliment Ohridski, Boyana Church , park Vitosha and monument “Kambanite”. In Plovdiv the TV team will shoot the famous pedestrian street, the Old Town, the Roman Amthiteater , the Roman Forum, Bunardzhik hill.
Indian tourists are well known with the high amount of spending they do travelling in foreign destinations. It is stated that more than 50 million tourists are expected in 2020.
