Housing loans

A decline in the interest rates on consumer loans was observed in June, an analysis by the CreditCenter consultants shows. "Not only the interest but also the fees on consumer loans continue to fall. In June the decline in the interest rates in the various offers was between 0.5% and 2%," CreditCenter executive director Tihomir Toshev said.
Toshev also noted that currently the people with money and in need of a property decide more quickly on the purchase of it. "They believe that in any economic or political turmoil these properties will better protect their financial assets and will also improve their standard of living on the other hand. In most cases, these people have their own savings of about 40-50% of the cost of buying property " Toshev said. The average amount of the mortgage loans in the country amounted to EUR 34,960 in June. The money was mostly drawn by people between 26 and 45 years and mostly for residential loan purposes.
