Eurozone Determined to Keep Greece in the Club

Around the world

Eurozone's finance ministers expressed their strong desire to keep Greece in the single currency club at a meeting that finished late on Monday.
Luxembourg PM and Eurogroup Chairman Jean-Claude Juncker stated the Ministers have an "unshakeable desire to keep Greece within the Eurozone.
"We will do everything possible to achieve that," he said, as cited by international media.
"The Eurogroup looks forward to the swift formation of a new Greek government to take ownership of the (bailout) program and a sufficient parliamentary majority to implement fully the policy conditionality," Juncker declared.
He dismissed talks on Greece's exit from Eurozone as "propaganda."
"I don't envisage, not even for one second, Greece leaving the euro area."
