Bulgarian Red Cross General Assembly to take place on Friday and Saturday
The General Assembly of the Bulgarian Red Cross is to take place on Friday and Saturday, the NGO announced.
The closing session of the 64th General Assembly is to take place at 4:00 p.m. local time on Friday in the building of the Bulgarian Red Cross. The management are to present the delegates with a report about the performance of the organization between 2009 and 2013, reports of the National Controlling Commission and Commission of Ethics for the period 2009-2013, and a report about the organization’s budget in 2012.
The first session of the 65th General Assembly kicks off on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. local time. The delegates are to elect chairperson and deputy chairpersons of the Bulgarian Red Cross, members of the National Council, National Controlling Commission and Commission of Ethics for the next four-year term. The members of the senior managing body are to update the 2020 strategic action plan of the Bulgarian Red Cross and adopt a plan and budget for 2013.
The forum is to be attended by representatives of the state authorities, NGOs, guests from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and other national societies.
