Around the world

Bulgaria's PM Boiko Borissov and President Rossen Plevneliev sent congratulatory letters to Barack Obama for his re-election as US president.
"In your second term of office you will continue to be a resolute leader and a convincing political manager. I am happy that we will have the chance to continue and further develop our joint work. Critically important is our fruitful cooperation in the field of energy and key issues of energy security and diversification," Bulgaria's President Plevneliev wrote in his letter to US President Obama.
President Plevneliev expressed his hope that the relations between Bulgaria and the USA will further develop through more intensive direct relations between the citizens of the two countries, inclusive of the expansion of the opportunities for free traveling.
"I do hope that you will continue to work hard to achieve the goals you set before you for the prosperity of the USA, for keeping peace, security and democracy in the world. In the last few years the governments of Bulgaria and the USA worked together on a series of issues of bilateral interest with international importance. I do hope that Bulgaria and the USA will continue developing their relations," PM Borissov wrote.
