Bulgarian Emigrants boost the economy with 1.4 B Levs

The Bulgarians living abroad have sent back home 1.4 billion levs (702 million euro) year-on-year, the national bank said. Since the beginning of 2010, our compatriots have sent back home 600 million levs, while for the past twelve months until October 2010 they have boosted the economy with 1.5 billion euro, a report of the Bulgarian national bank on the country's payment balance treads. According to the report on the fulfillment of this year's budget, the revenues from foreign payments, including ones from the EU funds,  for the first ten months of 2010 total 600 million euro, while the expenditures on membership contributions amount to 300 million euro.
