According to Yulia Grigorova, Nature and Prosperity Coordinator at the WWF Danube-Carpathian Programme, as cited by dnevnik.bg, one of the highlights of the event will be EU funds absorption for the European network of protected areas Natura 2000 during the next programming period.

In Grigorova's words, the conference aims to provide access to information about these opportunities in order to facilitate programming and absorption of EU funds for Natura 2000 in the period 2014-2020.
