Bulgaria Expects inflow of Russian Tourists

The recent riots in Turkey may well result in the ebb of Russian tourist who are traditionally the most numerous holidaymakers in the country.
The Russians most probably will prefer Bulgaria this summer.
At a meeting with the leading Russian tour operators in the Bulgarian embassy in Moscow it was pointed out that this year about 650,000 Russian tourists will visit Bulgaria, up by 30 percent as compared with the previous years.
They will generate about 5 billion leva revenues, Ambassador Boiko Kotsev underscored.
The sum total includes realty that the Russians are expected to buy this year.
