British heavy metal legends Judas Priest will perform in Bulgaria one last time as part of their Epitaph World Tour, Bulgarian media reported.

The band have confirmed that they will play at Akedemik Stadium in Sofia on July 8 2011. According to the report, support for Judas Priest will be Whitesnake.

Judas Priest announced on December 7 2010 that their Epitaph World Tour would be the band's farewell tour. According to reports, the band will tour with Epitaph until 2012.

"I think it's time, you know," Rob Halford said about the band's impending retirement for Road Runner Records.

"We're not the first band to say farewell, it's just the way everyone comes to at some point and we're gonna say a few more things early next year, so I think the main thing that we just want to ask everybody to consider is don't be sad about this, start celebrating and rejoicing over all the great things we've done in Judas Priest."
