Black Sea resort Kaliakria hosts Weeky Freaky festival

The second  Weeky Freaky summer art festival, which declares proving that art knows no boundaries as its mission, will take place from July 1-3 2011 at the Black Sea resort of Kaliakria.

An exhibition by Bulgarian artist Kaloyan Iliev-Kikimoto will open the fest on July 1, while indie pop singer Milenita will perform songs from the recently-released film Lora from Morning till Evening along with other hits.

Milenita is one of the few contemporary indie singers who writes both the music and lyrics of her songs.

Her performance will be followed by an animated short film by Nedelcho Bogdanov.

On July 2, you can see a contemporary ceramic exhibition by young artist Marta Dimitrova and a sculpture exhibition by Stefka Georgieva.

In the afternoon DJ Marten will be mixing at the resort's Totally Romantic pool bar while the most popular graffiti artist Ernesto Nasimo will show his art.

Nasimo's exposition V.I.T.R.I.O.L. an abbreviation of the Latin saying Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Ossultum meaning Visit the innermost of the earth and by rectifying you will find the hidden stone now can be seen in Vancouver, Canada.

Weeky Freaky festival 2011 will be closed by the animation and storyboard exhibition by young Bulgarian urban artist Ilka Peicheva.

Dj Skill, Dj Stone Skipper and  Dj JiJo  from Jazz Profilactika will take care of the festival's music design.
