Azerbaijan Wins Eurovision 2011 with 'Running Scared'

Azerbaijan's Eli/Nikki won the final of the 2011 Eurovision Song Context in Germany's Dusseldorf late Saturday night.
Nikki (Nigar Jamal) and Eli (Eldar Gasimov) from Azerbaijan triumphed at the final in Germany with their English-language song "Running Scared." Italy came in second, and Sweden finished third.
Azerbaijan beat 24 other nations that made it to the final of Eurovision 2011. In the Europe-wide vote, Azerbaijan received the highest possible number of points - 12 - from Russia, Turkey, and Malta.
