The Bulgarian government’s main focus is on the reduction of administrative burden for businesses. The measures the cabinet has proposed in this area are already 88, it was announced at a press conference after the government’s meeting yesterday.

The Council of Ministers adopted the second package of measures in order to slash administrative burden for businesses.

The first package was adopted on August 1. The new measures remove some license and registration procedures, reduce fees, scrap some application documents and simplify some procedures. They are supposed to ease the operation of businesses in Bulgaria.

Remote internship will be introduced for Bulgarian students abroad. One of the problems Bulgarian students abroad experience is limited access to internship programs, because they find it difficult to attend interviews in Bulgaria. The new initiative makes it possible to apply online and even attend the internship online.
