2.7 billion people will be able to browse up to the end of the year

Interesting

By the end of the year, 2.7 billion people will have access to the Internet. This indicates a UN report. Some time ago, the United Nations announced that the opportunity to take advantage of virtual environment is a basic human right .
The document notes that in 2012, consumers have increased by 250 million people, transmits BBC.
However, 4.4 billion of the world's population still can not take advantage of that right.
A major problem of the lack of access is the inability of states to pay for it. For the purchase of fixed broadband Internet account for about 30% of GDP in Africa, this percentage rises to 40%.
In some countries, the mobile internet is much more accessible. In countries such as Zimbabwe and Congo , however, that satisfaction is 100 % of the national average wage.
To increase consumer UN receives support from private and non-governmental organizations. Among them is the Alliance for Accessible Internet, which lobbies for lower prices for this service. Among the sponsors of the organization are Google, Facebook, Intel, Yahoo, Microsoft.
