Dragovishtitsa is a village in Western Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality Kostinbrod, Sofia district.
In Bulgaria there is another location that bears the same name - in Kyustendil municipality, Kyustendil region.
It is 23 km northwest of Sofia, close to two major transport corridors - International road Sofia-Belgrade and Lom Road, 4 km north of Kostinbrod, 21 km east of the town Slivnitsa.
The population is around 1000 people.
The terrain is flat, at an altitude of 600 m.The municipality falls within the temperate climatic zone. Typically there are cold winters, cool summers and an earlier fall, compared to other parts of the country.
Passes through the village river Kriva.
The village is electrified, built a water supply, sewerage, electricity, communications networks.
There Primary School Father Paisii, community center Georgi Sava Rakovski, kindergarten, Rural Health Service, several food shops and restaurant and entertainment.
Regular bus service to settlements in the municipality.
The villagers are working in the poultry farm here and functioning in companies in the municipal center.
The village is a favorite to buy properties from people who want to be away from hectic and noise of the city. Priority is clean air and easy access to capital through Lom Road.
