Skiing

Savour the magic hour when the dazzling floodlights begin to take over from the dwindling daylight, and night skiing begins.
For those who have never tried it before, skiing under the lights is a delightful experience, especially in February and March when the evening temperatures begin to rise a little. But even in the deepest cold of January, night skiing is worth the effort of putting on extra clothing.
Flying down the hill on skis in a pool of light surrounded by darkness is a perfect way to unwind from a stress-filled day. Even the ride up the chairlift at night is magical, the lights of houses and towns twinkling in the distance.
Additionally, night skiing is an excellent way to get more skiing time for your money. Night lift pass prices are lower than daytime rates, and there are rarely any lift lines to slow you down. It's an experience that is well worth the price.

Shows

While in Borovets, do not miss the ski show. Once a week to the light of burning torches, the Borovets Ski School instructors raise the spirits of the wintersports fans with attractive acrobatic performances. Join the party and warm up for the night fiesta. Winter brings many snowmobilers to Borovets to revel in the dry powder of Rila. The resort offers kilometers of breathtaking groomed and ungroomed trails and receives guests from all over Europe.

Borosport was founded in 1991. Today the company operates and maintains the ski infrastructure of Borovets, including lifts, snow guns etc. Borosport manages a total of 50 km of ski runs, ensuring the comfort and pleasure of all winter sports fans. Borosport also runs the largest ski school with more than 200 ski instructors most of whom are former professional skiers. The ski school is well known all over Europe and is a member of the international ski-instructors association INTERSKI.
Snow management is among the important responsibilities of Borosport. Snowmaking and good grooming can change a good day on the slopes into a great day. To offer you the ultimate snow experience, we have rediscovered over 2 km of ski runs in the heart of Borovets. Six new snow cannons cover the area with snow that grooms better and lasts longer than natural snow. Then, each morning, our grooming machines transform that snow into smooth corduroy.
