Requirements of Investment Law must be reduced, Economy Minister says

The requirements of the Investment Law must be reduced in order to stimulate the business, Economy Minister Delyan Dobrev said at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on economy.
In December the Parliament adopted a law that required a minimum investment of 2 million euro for becoming a Bulgarian national, while the level in Ireland, which is the highest in the EU is 300,000 euro. Foreign investors also had to hire at least 50 employees. The President later imposed a veto on the bill.
