Infrastructure projects are priority because they retain and create more jobs. During the crisis, especially in overcoming the crisis is very important that we not to have high unemployment and even to reduce it. This is what Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Simeon Dyankov said in an interview for FOCUS News Agency.
In his words – it is a matter talks at the Council of Ministers and the parliament about which sectors to receive extra money if more funds are put into the treasury. Additional revenue will mainly come in healthcare and infrastructure - national, municipal.
Rapid growth of the sectors involved in export will pull us off the crisis, according to the analysis that we have now. This helps the trade balance, which is one of the Maastricht criteria and will indirectly help us for entry into ERM II and euro area. However, exports have fewer taxes, because exporters do not pay VAT.
